Welcome

Greetings,

From the officers, corporate advisory board, and members of the Maryland Association of Orthopaedic Technologists, we wish you and yours happiness and peace in all that you do.

Have you ever thought about what makes a good team even better?  First, every member must “want” to be part of the team.  Everyone should also understand just what his or her responsibilities are.  Most importantly, however, we all need to realize that by working as individuals, and not as a team, the overall job will not be done, and goals may not be met.

So is it also true in the world of Orthopaedics.  There are surgeons, nurses, assistants, therapists and technologists, each working together as a team for the common good of a “single” patient.  With each player on the team doing their part, and working together, our patients benefit from the best possible care available to them.

With the above in mind, we want to invite you to become part of our team.  Let us learn from one another, teach one another and grow with one another.  We offer educational and meaningful workshops and seminars throughout the year, and we have a “heck of a lot of fun” doing it.  So if the thought of becoming a member of our team interests you, please come, listen, see and learn with other orthopaedic professionals who are all moving forward with the common goal of making a difference in the life of our patients, while also benefiting ourselves.
